  2. I love this photo :-) The women at the front are having the best time, laughing their arses off and desperately trying to keep hold of their hats and their modesty. Meanwhile……two cars back, those ladies look like they’re at a funeral and are having the worst day ever. It’s this contrast that makes this photo so wonderful :-)

    1) My Great Grandmother circa 1915
    2) My Grandmother 1944
    3) My Mum & Me 1994

    The resemblance between my Mum, her Mother & her Grandmother is striking :-)
    I think I was found under a bush ;-)

    And yes….we do still dress like Victorian ladies in England :-)
